Tulum North Beach – Top Beaches in the Riviera Maya

Tulum North Beach is a beach you do not want to miss on your vacation in paradise. We are sure you have heard friends or family members speak of the tranquil beaches in Tulum. Trust us on this one; you need to experience it for yourself. Have you dreamed about swimming in crystal clear turquoise waters somewhere out in the Caribbean Sea? Well, make that dream come true! Tulum’s North Beach is located around 40 minutes from Playa del Carmen or 1.5 hours from Cancun International Airport. When you are coming from Playa del Carmen you follow highway 307 South about 35 minutes, then you turn left onto (15) Ave Coba until you reach the area of the beach you want to spend the day at. There are many unique restaurants and stores located just off of the beach that we recommend you explore. If you want to explore something a little different for part of the day in Tulum, we recommend you checking out the Mayan Ruins. The Ruins are located on a cliff overlooking the Caribbean Sea. This beach is breathtaking and you will definitely want to bring your camera to capture the picturesque views from above. There are some beach restaurants that have lounge beds you can use if you enjoy a drink or some tasty Mexican cuisine. If you decide you want to pack your own lunch and beverages, then we would advise you to bring your own chair or towels.
